GINKGO FOREST WINERY

Ginkgo Forest Winery is known for the wide selection of wines crafted from grapes grown on the acclaimed Wahluke Slope AVA.  Using estate grown premium grapes, owner and winemaker Mike Thiede, combines his artistic and scientific backgrounds to create wines for every occasion and every lifestyle -- varietals, blends, dessert, port-style or fortified, and organic wines.

Known as the oldest living fossil, the ginkgo tree lends its unique features to Ginkgo Forest Winery.  With almost a thousand ginkgo trees planted around the winery, a contemporary forest is growing on the Wahluke slope.  Our goal is to make Ginkgo Forest wines as unique and distinctive as the ginkgo tree.

TASTING ROOMS  |  VINEYARD  TOURS

Led by owner and wine-maker Mike Thiede, Ginkgo Forest Winery staff enjoy sharing the joy of making wine with the people who drink it.   The wide array of Ginkgo Forest wines provides consumers with wines to enjoy for all occasions and lifestyles.  Our challenge is to share what we have learned about wine and listen to what our customers need, so that we can all have a better wine experience. Whether it’s in the tasting room, while on a tour of our vineyard and winery, or at special events outside the winery, learning from each other enhances our wine experience.

We offer wine tastings and wines by the glass at both tasting rooms, located at the vineyard and winery in Mattawa, Washington and in Tacoma, Washington in the old downtown by the waterfront. At both tasting rooms you can enjoy outdoor seating and Tacoma offers small plates as well to compliment the wines. We look forward to seeing you soon.
